CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CVI) purchased Gary-Williams Energy Corporation (GWEC) and its Wynnewood, Okla., refinery and related assets on Dec. 15, 2011.

CVR Energy is pleased to welcome GWEC employees and customers to the corporate family. GWEC customers will continue to receive the high quality customer service they have come to know and expect. Until CVR Energy and GWEC complete the integration process, employees and customers should continue to conduct business as usual. With 70,000 bpd in crude throughput capacity, the Wynnewood refinery provides a meaningful increase in the scale and diversity of CVR Energy's refining operations. CVR Energy now has more than 185,000 bpd of processing capacity at two locations in the attractive PADD II, Group 3, region. Both facilities have access to a variety of cost advantaged WTI price-linked crudes.

The Wynnewood refinery produces gasoline, diesel fuel, military jet fuel, solvents and asphalt.
