Reaching Out to Our Communities

CVR Energy believes in going beyond supporting the communities in which we live and work. Through our active support of youth, culture, health, education and environmental opportunities, we strive to improve the quality of life for our employees and our neighbors.

In this spirit, we support such organizations as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. CVR Energy also makes grants to local schools, charities, community events and community enhancement projects. And most important, several of our employees sit on the boards of the organizations and events that we support. We strongly believe that one of our most important contributions is our good neighbor policy and the participation of our employees in community events and activities.

Our corporate philosophy about community involvement is based in the belief that our employees and their families are best able to determine the needs of their communities. Our employees are encouraged and supported in their efforts to make a difference based on their personal involvement.
