Position: Assistant to the CEO CVR Partners

Description:

This position provides advanced administrative coordination necessitated by the Chief Executive Officer’s accountability for managing the enterprise. This position manages information that impacts business operations, strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.  On behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, this individual regularly communicates with external Board of Directors and Committee members, investors,  key executives, internal customers, investment bankers and vendors.  With little to or no supervision, the job content is non-routine, time sensitive and confidential.  The individual must be able to research, seek, compile, independently audit, and verify information from a variety of sources to maintain the professional creditability required of the Officer.

Position: Chemist
Location: Coffeyville, KS

Description:

Under the general direction of the Chief Chemist, this position will conduct laboratory analysis, instrument maintenance, instrument calibration and QA/QC compliance on the feedstock and products associated with a complex petroleum refinery.  The incumbent will review analytical data and provide technical support to the production laboratory and act as a liaison between the blending, scheduling, testing and transportation functions of the department.

Position: Corporate Accounting Manager
Location: Kansas City, KS

Description:

This position specifically oversees for both CVR companies the preparation and review of the internal Oracle financial statements as well as other corporate areas such as debt, deferred financing, management allocations, insurance, and eliminations. The incumbent will supervise the Senior Corporate Accountant and Corporate Accountant. In conjunction with the Corporate Controller, this position will help oversee the Corporate Accounting Department, including direct supervision of the general ledger accountants and the Accounts Payable Department. This position will assist in populating and reviewing the financial statement tables and related disclosures in the Company’s 10-Q’s/K’s as well as providing assistance in reviewing the Company’s board presentations and other special reporting as needed. This position is exposed to highly confidential matters that must be handled in a professional and discrete manner.

Position: Corporate Safety Director

Description:

This leadership position is responsible for the development and administration of personnel and process safety policies and programs which ensure all facilities are in compliance with Federal and local safety guidelines/legislation and other safety requirements. The incumbent is to ensure employee safety programs are developed, carried out and documented. Programs include preventative, precautionary and safety hazard event protocols. The Director will regularly interface with government officials, executive management, supervisors and employees. This position will: supervise all Safety Manager employees associated with CVR; serve as the subject matter expert for both the personnel and process safety programs, and; be accountable for the management of the safety budget.

Description:

Installation, calibration and maintenance of the Nitrogen Fertilizer instrumentation and electrical equipment or any other assigned tasks that personnel can safely perform. Position: Senior Credit Analyst

Description:

This position is responsible for analyzing, recommending, maintaining and monitoring credit limits and exposures for an assigned group of refinery customers. This includes: annual analysis of customer financial statements and owner or parent financial statements; identifying the corporate structure, and; ensuring that entities under common control are consolidated in the assignment of credit limits and allowed exposure. Other accountabilities are to: ensure compliance company-wide with credit policies and procedures; pursue any past due accounts, and; assist the Director of Treasury Operations with financial analysis, bank reporting and other department projects.

Description:

The purpose of this position is to ensure proper volume and pricing for crude oil transferred from the lease crude system (division order) and third party intermediated crude oil agreement or other bulk crude acquisition, to reconcile volumes shipped and purchased through third party pipelines, and to perform monthly reconciliations and valuations of crude oil inventory. This position is also responsible for the proper accounting of crude transportation and logistics costs as well as derivatives on related commodities.

Position: Senior Safety Specialist Engineer
Location: Coffeyville, KS

Description:

This professional staff position will lead in the development and implementation of occupational safety and health, and process safety management practices, policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of training and field verification, and audits of same. Position will also have responsibility for reviewing other Safety Specialists’ work for conceptual design and project engineering/management of safety and health related capital and expense projects to include fire detection and suppression systems, vapor detection and monitoring systems, mitigation systems, etc. Additionally, the position will be responsible for interfacing with operations and maintenance, project and contractor projects and personnel on complex issues. The incumbent will be required to actively serve on the facility Emergency Response Team.

Position: Transportation Training Coordinator

Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining Environmental Health & Safety compliance within the Crude Transportation Division (CRCT).  The incumbent is to develop and provide an effective and beneficial training program for Division employees.  This includes ensuring training compliance at the new hire, periodic and refresher level requirements.   The Coordinator is to accomplish these training requirements through classroom training, individual training, and field training exercises for employees at all levels.  Topics to be included are: General Awareness, Function Specific, Safety, Hazardous Communications, First Responder and Security.

Position: Transport Driver
Location: Plainville, Ks, Pratt, KS, Winfield, KS and Bartlesville, OK

Description:

Provide safe and efficient transportation of crude oil products via tank truck.  Assure accurate measurement of crude oil by properly applying API gauging and sampling standards. Meet established transport productivity requirements.  Demonstrate the ability to operate a hydraulic pump system in a safe manner. Use supplied communications tools, including a laptop computer with data entry and GPS system software to proficiently transfer field data to crude accounting. Prepare run tickets, vehicle inspection records, trip reports and driver logs in strict adherence with all Company and agency-required environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Maintain strict adherence to all DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations and standards.  Demonstrate the ability to adapt to schedule change.
