Engineer, develop, and maintain all the computer systems required to control the refinery with the greatest possible degree of accuracy though selection, design, procurement, installation, development, commissioning and maintenance of the control systems, with primary focus on application of advanced control and optimization technologies.

Bachelors Degree Chemical Engineering required; an advanced degree in Process Controls or Chemical Engineering is highly desirable. College level training or at least one year experience with Microsoft networking implementation and support is highly desired. Honeywell Automation College Process Control training, Graphics Building, Advanced Graphics Building, or any other TDC-3000 or Experion related training or experience. Training in advanced optimization theory, such as LP programming. Training in JAVA, C++, Honeywell PHD, LIMS, Uniformance, OPC development, and other applications implementation and administration. Understanding of field instrumentation and how it functions.

At least 3-5 years experience with process control engineering and implementation is mandatory, preferably with Honeywell TDC-3000 or Experion control systems.

Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining multi-variable, model based, predictive control applications (preferably Honeywell Profit Controller) is necessary.

Programming in PLC ladder logic with Allen Bradley, GE, or Modicon protocol.

Programming in MATLAB, Visual Basic, HTML.

Fluent in NT, W2K, and XP, PC hardware diagnosis and replacement.

Knowledge of token ring network operation and Fault Tolerant Ethernet networking.
